We can also combine it with other injectable treatments and create a personalized treatment plan to rejuvenate your skin. Look refreshed and boost your confidence with Radiesse dermal fillers at Versailles Medical Spa in Darien, CT.
Is Radiesse For You?
Adults who maintain healthy habits and have mild to moderate wrinkles and fine lines are great candidates for Radiesse dermal filler treatments. It can improve smile lines, marionette lines, pre-jowl folds, chin wrinkles, and fine lines in the corners of the lips. Radiesse is also designed to treat volume that is often lost with age in the hands to make them fuller and younger-looking. You should not receive this injection if you are allergic to lidocaine or other ingredients in the product. During our complimentary consultations, our medical team is sure to thoroughly assess all of our patients to make sure we address any allergies (severe or not) and any medical conditions or disorders. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, might be pregnant, or are trying to conceive within several years, you should not undergo Radiesse treatments.
After completing your consultation, discussing your aesthetic goals, and determining that Radiesse is the proper treatment for you, the medical provider will begin treatment. Generally, your visit will take about 30 – 45 minutes. To start the treatment, the medical provider will take before pictures to mark injection sites, and prep the skin by cleansing the area that will be treated. Many patients experience little to no discomfort throughout their treatment, which is administered with a fine needle to minimize any discomfort and potential bruising. However, if requested, the medical provider is able to apply a topical anesthetic numbing cream to the injection sites. The pre-marked injection sites will help guide the injector to carefully administer Radiesse into the skin. After the procedure is finished, a cold compress is applied to help reduce any swelling and bruising.
