Microdermabrasion

Typically, our team uses these treatments on the face, but we can also apply it on your hands, neck, and chest. This procedure should not be used on skin with an open wound or a chronic condition, such as acne or rosacea.

At a complimentary consultation and after listening to your cosmetic goals, we will determine if microdermabrasion is best for your skin and then create a treatment plan. During the treatment, patients can sit back in a comfortable chair and have their skin cleaned and prepared. The hand piece will run along your skin as it polishes and sucks up the dead skin and crystals. While the process feels a little rough, you should not experience discomfort so you wouldn’t need a numbing cream or local anesthesia. The microdermabrasion is applied evenly over the selected areas with more care and sensitivity around the eyes. Once the process is complete, the skin is cleaned to remove any residual debris before a moisturizer with sunscreen, chosen for your skin type, is applied.

After your treatment, you can resume your normal activities, but you need to wear some form of sun protection since your new layer of skin is susceptible to sun damage. Your face should feel smoother, and your tone will look more even. To extend the benefits, we suggest having a microdermabrasion treatment every 4-6 weeks.
